Community Consulation Event

New House Farm Quarry Extension Proposal

Brickmaking clay has been supplied to Hartlebury and Waresley brickworks from the adjacent quarry workings since the 1980’s.

Clay reserves at the existing quarry are rapidly diminishing and to maintain operational capacity and retain the existing clay stocking area, there is a need for new clay resource to provide continuity of supply to the brickworks.

To continue to supply clay for the manufacture of bricks at Hartlebury and Waresley, Wienerberger has identified a new area of land adjacent to the existing workings. This lies to the north and east of the current operational area. This consultation event is to provide information on our exciting plans and to seek feedback to help shape the vision for the site.  This will be taken into account in preparing a planning application with an environmental statement for submission to Worcestershire County Council. This is your opportunity  to view the project, ask questions and have your say on the proposal.
